OCR for Maths Symbols

Can anyone tell be best OCR for mathematics characters

Do you have an OCR now that doesnt recognize them? If so... which characters and which OCR software are you using?

I have used Omni Page ABBy etc but maths symbols like phi, lambda symbols in quantum mechanics, integration symbols etc

I think those symbols would be more accurately referred to as Greek letters. I'd expect the ability to recognize characters would depend on language selections.

Unicode has a very rich set of symbols taht are not standard in ASCII.

I like this one:  ∿ SINE WAVE

That could be a tough nut for OCR unless the OCR program was given a clue taht unicode was used.
