    Having problems not sure about
    « on: February 05, 2018, 03:18:22 PM »
My computer does not seem "right" to me.  It freezes a lot on a lot of websites I go on, especially Facebook and realtor.com.  I went to your home page and saw the fix computer problems and clicked on it, ran a scan on my computer and it says I have some security issues, and other things.  This is reimage and would like to know if you recommend this before I do it.  I have a Dell Inspirion, Intel i-5-4460, CPU@ 3.2 GHz, RAM 8 GB, 64-bit operating system.  I was on here yesterday with soybean because my cd player stopped working.  He told me I probably need a new one since they only last two or three years and the computer is two years old.  Not a problem, I can take care of that.  This, however, has been going on, freezing on websites, and I've noticed when I go to shut it down, a box comes up and says something before the screen goes blue but it does it so fast I don't know what it says.  Good idea to run the reimage program or no?  Thank you!

What you clicked was an advertisement. Reimage is GARBAGE. Trash. Dumpster fire. Stay away.

Then how come it comes up on your home page?  I thought I was being safe getting it from a Computer Hope website.  So, the "scan" they ran on my computer wasn't true?  I didn't pay any money, I just saw where I needed a fix of sorts.  I do have Windows Defender and just ran a scan and said I had no threats.  Still, my computer is acting a bit strange.

      A good question IMHO.

The Ads that pop up from here are a sore spot to me...

Personally i wouldn't endorse many of the products.
