    Dual Monitor Problem
    « on: February 08, 2018, 04:43:27 PM »
It's not actually two monitors but a monitor and a tv. I had these same two set up in Windows 7 just fine, could see the entire display on both. But now I am using Windows 10 and the tv display is too big. I tried to adjust it in the display settings but that didn't work. I changed the screen resolution to a little smaller than 1920 x 1080 but all that did was give me black space around the display. The problem I am having is I can't see or access anything on the edges of the tv display, the monitor display is fine. I can't get updated drives for the video card because they don't make them.

Make and model of the PC?
    What kind of video graphics?
    Brand name and model.
there might be somebody  here that knows about that model.

I built the PC myself, don't have the MB info handy. The video card is an AMD Radeon HD 5450 1gb. The tv is an Element ELEFT406 40".
Funny enough I remembered today at work that someone gave me there old video card, a PNY GeForce 8400 GS 1gb. So I brought it home to see if it would fit on my motherboard and it does, that's what I have set up right now. Unfortunately I had the same problem with it, the monitor display is fine, the tv display is too big. Fortunately after looking over the remote for the tv some more I fixed  the problem. There is an "Aspect" button on the remote. While scrolling through that I was able to get the image small enough to fit. I looked in the tv settings area and couldn't find the aspect ratio settings that I thought were there. So now it looks like the problem is solved.
      Thanks for your help.
