Unresponsive PC
« on: February 12, 2018, 11:06:06 PM »
to all members of Computer Hope,

My Google Chrome Internet browser becomes unresponsive and it also causes everything to freeze up on my laptop PC. Windows Explorer becomes unresponsive rendering my laptop PC Desktop from becoming inaccessible. The only choice I have when this happens is a hard force shut down of PC. The two recent times I force shut down PC due to the same issue as stated above and restarted my PC; an automatic HP BIOS Update Recovery came on screen to download and install. I've tried a disc clean up and disc defrag of hard drive. I've also tried both an anti virus scan and malwarebytes software scan, but no threats were found. What could be causing this issue and is there a way to fix it? Thank you all for your efforts and sacrificed time in responding to my concerns.
Sincerely,
Joey Michael Roddy

Have you tried any other browsers, like FireFox, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, etc. ?

How much free space do you have on your hard drive C? Click on My PC, right-click the C drive and click on Properties.
Windows 8 and Windows 10 dual boot with two SSD's

Hello everyone,

I have deleted all of my movies on my hard drive regardless of having 350 GB free out of 906 GB total at the time of movie stored on C hard drive. I also went into performance options on PC and I adjusted the settings to best performance. Since then, I haven't experienced any freezes or slow booting times and when I log in to my laptop computer PC from sleep mode, it loads desktop and taskbar instantly.
