Opening a previously saved .mht file in Google Chrome

In the Google Chrome browser, is it possible to navigate to a specific location on my hard drive and open a previously saved .mht file? (or, what have they done with the Windows menu bar?)

In the URL bar you should be able to get to it such as at C:\mydata\my.mht if the file was named that and located there.

Thanks, your suggestion worked, just as hindsight now says it should.  Sad, but it appears that Chrome can not  save complex web pages in the single file .mht format and I find IE-11 an abomination.  JimFromSJersey
