    i have a laptop that has 1 hole where i can put the round jack, but my headset has 2 jacks, microphone and sound. how do i connect both of them?

    You would need to get an adaptor that splits the connector on the laptop out into separate microphone and headphone jacks such as this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Headsets-Separate-Headphone-Microphone-Splitter/dp/B073QMD8T1/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1532288472&sr=8-5&keywords=headset+splitter

    Make sure that whatever adaptor you go for is actually designed for this purpose (has separate microphone and headphone jacks and has 3 black rings on the connector that goes into the laptop), it's a different adaptor from a splitter that would let you connect two sets of headphones at once which looks very similar.
