    Hdd problem
    « on: December 08, 2018, 01:56:45 PM »
    Hello ,
So I have a problem with my hdd , first I want to mention that my hdd wasn't working anymore so i got my laptop to a technician and he repaired it.
I have 2 partitions with a combined data of 500gb but I remember that I had 1tb hdd so why I can use only half?
Also I checked how much memory the laptop has by writing msinfo32 in run and going to storage but it also said 500gb not 1tb.
Can someone help me make a partition so that I can use the other half data?
    Please help me.

Did the technician swap the drive? Do you trust him?

You now have a 500 GB hard drive, instead of the 1000 GB drive you had before.
