Problems logging into Tenda N300 wireless router

I bought a Tenda N300 wireless router. I have tried the IP address on the router to log into it's homepage. Also I logged into my ATT router to check it. It had a different IP address. I couldn't log in that way either. I know the router is working because I logged into the internet through it. I unplug it because there is no password. Do I need to use WPS to connect to the network to be able to log into it?

Try using this to login to your N300 router.

Did you buy this router new? Possibly it may have been returned to the store after another buyer purchased it, changed the login IP address then found they didn't like it & returned it. If that is the case try resetting the router to factory defaults & try the login again. That may work for you.
I think it also has to be a wired connection to login to the router.

I reset it twice and used a hardwire connection

I'm sorry I couldn't help you further. Maybe someone else on the forum might have more ideas.
EDIT: I've read that you have to hold the reset button for 7 seconds.(Googled) Did you do that?

Problem solved. Bought a netgear router of which I was able to log into.
