    Not allowing chrome from auto playing videos

    Hey guys,in today's time chrome is the most used browser in the world.But obvious it is great..But i m a medical student and when i access websites for my studies,sometimes it automatically starts playing advertising  videos.Which is really big source of distraction and frustration for me.Is there any way to prevent it?Will be thankful if some one helps genuinely.

      Thanks, Patio, I just used that myself. It often annoys me to have to mute an autoplay video or ad when trying to read an article.
