Symbols overlay screen, then PC Freezes
    « on: January 24, 2019, 03:24:37 PM »
Hello, I recently got a gaming PC.  Recieved it 5 days ago. Everything was going fine, then midgame the screen froze and there were little symbols overlaying the screen. There was also some color changing going on. Now when I turn on my computer, even when not in a game the same thing happens after a few minutes. I was playing the game disc jam at medium settings @165hz/fps when it first started. And before that I had to restart ut because it wasn't coming out of sleep mode.  I have gsync on. Of note, I removed the 8gb ram, and replaced it with 32gb 3200mhz ram when I first got it. I have tried: doing a clean install of the graphics drivers in geforce experience. I removed the gpu, blew on it, and put it back in. Checked windows security, no problems there. Someone suggested it is a "busted gpu."
