Face Time Security Flaw
« on: January 31, 2019, 12:30:29 AM »
There is a security weakness in Face tiem. If you do something stupid, you can hear the other person's conversation -before they know you want to face time them.

You may have now hear about it. So what? Well Apple makes such a thing about security. But does it really matter? I was found by a youngster who was not looking for a flaw. Now comes the funny part. The real absurd part.

Guess what happened when his mother talked to Apple support.

Google it yourself. Everybody has the story. But the one that is often skipped is about the woman who claims she tried to tell them and the support person really brushed her off. He told her she was not authorized to report a bug in the program. Unless she paid Apple $99 up front.  ::)
