    Changing Router
    « on: April 23, 2019, 11:46:30 PM »
I currently am using the default xfinity router and have a NETGEAR Nighthawk R7900. Sadly the router only takes in Ethernet. Is there a way I can use this netgear router as dominant or is there a way to use the netgear router as an alternate router? The netgear router costed $300 and I don’t want to put it to waste.

Recently I replaced my Xfinity router with one made by Motorola.
Talk to Xfinity support, they can provide a list of replacement routers.
The R7900 also has wireless. You can use it as  an extender for better wireless coverage.
