    Keyboard Troubles
    « on: July 21, 2019, 07:23:06 PM »
    Good evening everyone!

So this morning, I made a mistake and sprayed my laptop to clean it while it was on. I also sprayed directly on it, which you aren't supposed to do.

Since then, my laptop works fine. Except the keyboard. For example, on the login screen, it zips on the password (like holding down a letter on the keyboard on Word), and won't allow me to backspace.

I've tried using device manager to uninstall the main keyboard to no avail. As well as restarting it and taking out the battery.

Any help you guys can give is greatly appreciated!

    Things I can think of:

    1. use external keyboard (usb pluggable one)

    2. try to replace keyboard and see if that helps

But hopefully it's not an internal hardware issue that is keyboard related (some internal part that is not properly working that is causing keyboard to not work).
