I am unable to connect to 127.0.0.1 or localhost using Firefox with Windows7. Any help please. I have checked the hosts file.

Does this system have connection to the internet while your trying to do this? As for a 127.0.0.1 request wont work if no network connection.

Are you running an apache server locally on this system that your trying to access at 127.0.0.1 or localhost?
