Configuring New Router
« on: July 26, 2019, 02:14:05 PM »
So I'm going to go ahead and put in a new router. If I use the same SSID, IPv4 address, and password, will existing devices recognize it automatically? Or will I need to sign everything in again?

Thanks. That was true of most devices, but not my teevee. Maybe because it was a jump from 2.4 to 5?

Thanks!

Most 5 GHz wireless Routers have support for 2.4 Ghz as well.

Yeah, but I named the 2.4 network something different.... So that may be it. Anyway, all good.
