Hope I am in the right forum. Please bear with me as I am new to the networking thing. I just purchased a Synology DS218 NAS and move the files from computer to the NAS because I need to send my computer out for repairs. The files on are my network are highly sensitive. my Synology is password protected. I am deleting my wireless router login from auto-connecting to get online. Is that all I need to do to preventing someone with access to my computer from being able to access  and view files on my network drive?

    Thanks,
    Ramone
