    Montior Cutting Out
    « on: September 19, 2019, 07:50:09 AM »
    Problem:
What seems like randomly, my monitor will lose signal from my computer. Checking my HDMI connections and re-securing them does not return signal to my display.
    Troubleshooting so far:
I have unplugged and replugged my connections to both my monitor and graphics card but display does not return.
Restarting my computer fixes the issue...until it happens again. This makes me believe its not an issue with my HDMI cord.
I used a different HDMI cord and tried the other ports on my graphics card but issue still persists.

Note: In case its relevant, I am using a monitor that only has a DVI and VGA ports so I use a HDMI/DVI adaptor.

If there is any more info that is needed let me know!

Windows power management is joking with you. Go into settings and set up a power plan that does not turn off the screen. Also, make sure that Windows will not save power on the DVI and VGA ports. You do this in device management
