I've used kinect for 3d scanning from time to time but now the quality is simply not enough.
I'm looking at all this professional 3d scanners and i'm dyyying to use them. But the price.. It's too expensive And I don't think I scan that much that I can afford one of them and this will be a wise decision. By the way on of manufactures also offers scanning services. (Not themself, but I hope they can be trusted). How to chose the proper company? I've never tried any outsource. According to (Denver). Not sure it's a good Idea to write to all of them.. I need to scan moderate amount of different size objects for future animation. It's a single time project and this it another reason why buying a scanner is not a solution.
