I am having a desktop Windows 10 computer delivered, but I have no monitor.. just HDMI TV.
The problem is I wont be able to SEE the screen, so signing in and selecting output is impossible.

Will the PC automatically detect and default to the HDMI display if that's the only one it can choose from?
If not I'll have to get hold of a monitor just to select TV output.

    Thanks

The issue with HDMI is proper drivers need to be installed for it to work...so hopefully on this pre-built they did it proper and it should pick it up eith no issues...
If not you may have to switch to Plan B.
    Best of Luck.

      I wanna suggest a plan C:
      - Plugin the screen into the PC
      - boot the PC up
      - Wait a few minutes until you're reasonably sure Windows is fully booted. A good indication is that the Hard Disk Drive indicator has stopped flickering.
      - Use the Winkey+P to pick an output screen
Winkey+P is a toggle key, switches between four modes
      1. Just the PC screen
      2. Duplicate screens, your TV and PC screen will show the same thing
      3. Spilt screens,  TV and PC screen will each show half is normally there.
      4. Just the TV screen

Windows 10, and HDMI ....... is a good match. You might be lucky, provided your TV has the necessary drivers in order to work with your PC.
I wanna suggest a plan D: borrow someones laptop and use that screen to set it up.
