If the router has built-in wifi you're good to go.  If not, since it was purchased recently, would it be possible to return/exchange that modem/router for one with wifi?

The other route would be to purchase a wireless access point which is a device that plugs into an ethernet port and provides wifi.

I think the cheapest way will be to return the router or exchange it with another router online or from your vendor.
