    Question About Searching the Forun
    « on: October 11, 2019, 07:45:12 AM »
I did a search for Computing Shutting down. This was the result.

Out of curiosity I did a search for Audio Problems, this time I added by user (me) and got the same result.

I did another search this time I added Search in topic subjects only. Yes you've guessed it.

How in the wide world of microprocessors do I do a search and get results?

You don't, not using the forum tools, anyway. Old forum search is disabled.

This document is for computers that turn off and remain off after an extended period of use. It is not for computers that turn back on (restart), computers that shut off immediately upon powering up, or computers that do not turn on at

A simple problem is the PSU fan has failed.

Is that what you want?   8)

Thanks, I've had a brief scan of the issues you directed me to. It may take me a time to look at everything in detail as I have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

With regard to over heating, I have removed one side of the case thus exposing the components so there's plenty of air getting to them. There are at least 3 fans working, power supply, processor fan and an additional fan attached to the case.
