Why is backup on I-cloud so difficult.
    « on: November 08, 2019, 08:56:55 AM »
I just had to purchase the 50GB option for my wife's iPhone SE. My wife's iPhone is trying to back up almost 9 GB of data. I have no idea what is taking up so much space. All I see is a big stupid purple bar that says 8.8 GB of backup. Doesn't tell me what I am backing up. It doesn't allow to selectively remove parts of the backups that are large so that I can reduce the backup footprint. I'm not backing up any photos.

Under Setting --> Apple ID Name --> iCloud --> Manage Storage --> Backups --> Documents and Data = 8.8 GB. When I click on the particular backup --> Choose Data to Back Up the largest item is Facebook at 37.3 MB. Again photos aren't selected.

After the backup completed, I see "No Archives Available" under both bookmarks and contacts under Advance --> Restore section. Did these items actually backup or not?

    This is beyond frustrating.
