The only legal way will be to buy a retail XP install disk and install it as a virtual machine using VMware or Virtual box

There are Windows Emulators for Linux. These do NOT use any Microsoft code, so they are legal. There are too many to meson only one.
      Here is a list:

Six Linux Emulators for Windows Download

These run Widows inside of Linux. Is you Mac use a Intel CPU?

Is there a Windows program yu need to run? Almost anything that runs on Windows has something like it on the Mac.

If you can not find a good solution, there might be anther way. Tell us why you need Windows XP? They could be another way to do the same thing.

One possibility is running Windows XP on a remote machine. :o
