Replacing a Realtek 8812 AE Wireless Lan card
    « on: April 06, 2020, 11:42:31 AM »
I have a Power Spec B662 desktop computer.  The motherboard is an AS Rock B250M-HDV. The operating system is Windows 10 home 64 bit Version   10.0.18363 Build 18363.  The wireless network card is a Realtek 8812 AE Wireless Lan 802.11ac PCI-E NIC.  It has given me problems from day one and I would like to replace it with a more reliable card.  I have tried reinstalling the card and that does not fix the problem.  What I am looking for is what type of network card do I need.

    Here is a short  answer.
    Get a USB dongle.
Forget repairing or replacing the  internal device. There is no good resown to do so.

Thank you for the information, I did not know that was an option.
