CD-R problem, please help!
« on: August 10, 2004, 07:52:18 PM »
I have been able to write to CR-R's two times since adding the drive a few days ago.  All the sudden now it won't write.  It is a generic CR-R drive, the first time I was able to write i used memorex CD-R's now that I can't write I've been attempting to write to CR-RWs.  Also I'm having big problems with low disk space, so I've gotten rid of everything I can think of that I don't use, but to no avail.  I don't go in changing or deleting things without knowing what they are for (my rule if you didn't create it, don't delete it) but I must have don't something because what worked fine a few days back now doesn't at all....

Any advice would be welcome....thanks

Search for viruses and Trojans.

What is the capacity of your harddisk and how much have you used so far? Perhaps you are only deleting smaller files whilst you need to remove the larger programs. If your harddrive space is dissapearing, you should run a virus and Trojan scan.
