    BIOS Help
    « on: October 26, 2020, 08:05:11 AM »
    Hi all,

I am looking to buy a refurbished laptop for my daughter, have found a couple I am interested in, but being a complete beginner I have no idea about the BIOS health...one laptop I am looking at it states the BIOS health is low. Can someone please help me, is this ok or not? I have looked online, but to be honest it left me more confused, which to be fair isn't hard! :)

    Many thanks

    Allan

I'm fairly certain you're not reading something correctly. I've never heard of a healthy (or unhealthy) bios.

It is likely the HDD health that is being reported...it can be easily replaced and is usually a good idea anyways on a used PC...

One of the ones I was looking at states that 'in BIOS health is low'. This one has now been sold so not applicable now, but I appreciate the answers.
