    Hi Guys, I have windows 10 on my main hard drives. I wonder could you tell me if it is possible to install Windows 7 System on an external Hard drive and actually boot from it.  I was always led to believe you had to install the oldest system first . So, I am not sure if ths actually applies to an external Hard drive. Thanks in advance.

    You cannot boot any ver of Windows from an external drive...this is by design.
