Help! sys.reg problem & Adware Gator?

Hello, every time i boot up my computer i get the following message : cannot import sys.reg Error opening the file. there may be a disk or file system error. What can I do to fix this?


Also, I bought new virus scan and found quite a few. Whenever i  run the virus scan it keeps telling me that I have a program called Adware Gator. It wont let me remove it so I quarrantine every time. Is this harmful?

not sure about your sys reg thing, but gator is spyware, get 'adaware' or 'spybot' to remove it.
