Have a BT speaker that I renamed when I first installed it. Everything was groovy.
But then something went kerflooey on other BT devices, so I just deleted everything and added them back in.
Now I can't rename the speaker.
Oh, I've tried - and sometimes it sticks until the next reboot. But ultimately it reverts back to its factory name.
I've done every permutation of rename-in-control-panel-and-power-off I can figure out mathematically. I have gone through the registry and picked out every single mention of its factory name, and yet.
Any thoughts?
