Disabling Bitdefender Total Security

I needed to update some drivers on CCleaner and it wasn't working so they told me to disable my firewall and Bitdefender as well. Well I have always known how to disable the firewall for the needed time to download something I know is safe. But never did or was I asked to disable the whole program. How do you disable Bitdefender Total Security say for a half hour or hour and then enable it back? Or any program for that matter without deleting it. PLease help.

Can somoene please tell me how to disable your antivirus for about an hour without deleting it?

Open Bitdefender, click on Protection - Advanced Thread Defense - Settings - toggle OFF Advanced Threat Defense

For the firewall, just toggle off Firewall on the home screen of bitdefender

When you want them back on, re-enable them.

BUT - what do you mean you want to install drivers on ccleaner? DO NOT EVER use a third party tool to update or install drivers.

thank you first of all for the directions to turn off bitdefender. and sorry i should have said update software not drivers. ccleaner has the option to install drivers and software.
