newb question-system recovery

if i do a system recovery do i have to re-install  all my software.

System Recovery :-?  Do you mean System Restore :-?

     heffus2...... If your pc or laptop came with a pre installed software bundle and a set of system recovery disks......... usually all the bundled software should be included on the recovery ( restore ) disks...... however anything you installed at a later date will be lost unless you had imaged your Hd ......

      heffus2.....  Perhaps you should tell us what you mean by "if i do a system recovery " ?

      Then you were asked which operating system you are using ......... Windows 95 ,Windows 98 , Windows 98SE , Windows ME , Windows 2000 , Windows XP .
      Which one do you have installed on your computer?

      Find the cds that came with your pc ........ list them here for us to see .
      Providing the brand name and model would be help also.
