hi,i have a computer that i bought,used,when i boot it asks which os system ,2000 or xp home,can i remove 2000,so i just have 1 os,how would i do this ,thanks

Does it ask this every time you boot?  Removing an OS is not a simple exercise.  In most cases it would be best to backup-reformat-install one.
Only able to visit the forums sporadically, sorry.

yes everytime,i would just leave it but my speakers will not work on xp,work fine on 2000

The issue is more likely sound card drivers. What do you have loaded in Device Manager under Sound?
