win 98 outlook express

I am having trouble with a computer that locks up when using outlook express. Mostly she claims when she is scrolling.   It has to be completely turned off to resolve the problem.  I saw on here a fix but the vidio card she has in it is not one of the ones listed.
Can any help?

Sounds like a video driver issue. Have you tried updating the video driver?
