    Hmmph.  Empty.  So you weren't prepared to sit in there for two hours, eh?  ;)

    We could do with some more links to the chat room.  I had to go on a hunt for it.  Pretty sure most newbies would give up looking.

      LOL ....... I was there from about 11:30pm to almost 1am ....... it was so quiet ....that I called it a day a little early.
      BTW ..... I posted a link to the live Help Chat room in the sticky area of
      "Other"

      Yup spotted that now.

      I'm not sure that CH yet has the critical mass required to make such a chatroom work.  Although it may be a good idea for the (near?) future.

        When I hung out in the channel late last year there were scads of newbies in there. Wonder what happened since then...

        In fact, I found it slightly ironic that the clueless noobers would filter in but the techs always had a hard time finding it if they even knew about it at all. BTW, google the words "Computer" "Help" and "Chat" together and see which sites are in the top five. That search seems to be a likey first step for someone seeking live help.

        It could be that hanging around in a chat room waiting for someone to arrive with a problem to fix sounds a lot more like work than, say, responding to messages on a forum as and when the mood takes you...  ;)
