130MHz with 80 Mb's of RAM, very slow. My old labtop was a IBM with a pentium one at 500 MHz and 76 Mb's of RAM. With windows 95, it was very slow.
Of course, it depends on what you'll be using the computer for but, for word processing, spreadsheet, email, etc., Win 98 will run decent on a 130MHz processor and 80MB RAM. By the way, how many memory slots does it have? How do you come up with 80MB?
Where does 80MB fit in here?
zylstra555, my dear fellow, memory is hardware. How does one download hardware? And, memory, in recent years, come in what sizes? Let's see. 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, 256MB .... You get the pattern, don't you? Where does 80MB fit in here?
