pc constantly restarts prob malware related?

right click on my computer go to properties-->click hardware tab--->device manager.. look through the drives and tell me if there are any with yellow ? or red x's.

do a windows update first then do what i said above

yes i have read that and i did go to the driver thing and it said some needed updating but then said i needed to pay for it

so when u try to update those two drivers they say you have too pay for the update? umm i never heard of paying for a driver update

is your computer a gateway??  if so have a peak here at the driver center http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers/dlcenter.asp

no i mean that link u gave me and asked if i read it , theres an scan and update driver thing these r the ones it says r bad

those r the ones it says r bad and in the device manager thing u told me to go to i try updating them and  it says

the wizard cannot find a better match for your hardware then the software u currently have installed

when it says its bad that doesnt just mean it needs updating does it?
maybe it means its not installed correct?

lol i didnt read... if they red u need to uninstall them and reinstall them.. right click them and click uninstall then restart and it should prompt you to install new devices

I'm going to quit using that link because you do NOT need to pay for drivers. You just need to know for sure what hardware is there so you can get the correct driver. What is the Gateway model #?

these r the drivers that http://driveragent.com/?ref=59  says r bad
and that is the one that wants u to pay to update ur drivers but here r the ones that it said r bad

r u sure ill be able to reinstall all the drivers that i uninstall?

as long as u have the internt.. i had to do it for my video card a while back.. once uninstall them restart and windows should detech new hardware.. they hardware that you uninstalled the drivers for..

ok i have  uninstalled all drivers that the scan said were bad now i have restarted and and they have all re installed automatically
now do u think my problem is over?

i sure hope so ill try it out and see what happens hope it dont restart again
