using older vid card driver
« on: September 11, 2004, 01:11:17 AM »
Hi,
I have a nvidia geforce mx 100/200 64mb pci vid card and I heard that using the nvidia driver ver 29.42 is better than any other driver for this card, I'm currently using the latest driver off the nvidia site which works fine, but would using an older driver boost performance?

    If you don't know the answer, it isn't a dumb question.

    Some people claim that older soundcard driver cards run better than newer ones because the videocard companies want you to buy their new videocards.

    Anyhow, try these tweaked drivers; http://www.omegadrivers.net/
