More of a suggestion to beat the ex-member bug.

Why doesn't whoever creates the threads back them up, Copy and paste to notepad or whatever and Then if its hit then it can just be restored, Whoever is the ex-member will hopefully give up and leave.

I did do that with a lot of the FAQ Solution Database, but most threads aren't essential to the forum's survival. ;)

My thought was that with the amount of "ex member" threads popping up thats its obvious its annoying people and by restoring the threads its not letting the "ex-member" win and annoy people.

He posted as a Guest and called himself "Merlin_2" and told everyone to "f**k off". This was actually Raptor playing a joke, but the Admin IP-banned who he thought was Merlin_2. It turned out that he had IP-banned Raptor.
Not quite. Merlin_2 was originally just plain Merlin. There was a profile snafu and he signed back on as Merlin_2 and continued using that name after the errors were corrected. Raptor never posted under that name. He never saw a reason to hide behind another moniker but did post as a guest on a couple of occassions. That was Raptor's joke, and he always admitted to the posts. Merlin began posting cryptic, unintelligable replies to almost everything and the situation deteriorated to the point that he was banned.

The moniker was Roof Vogel, by the way.  ;)

Bug Report:
Our Web Design board has a problem. Each latest post becomes a sticky.

Could someone please re-explain the ex-member bug for me completely so I can give it to YaBB Bug Reporting?

Not sure if this is a bug or not but guests can vote in polls.

Not really fair though because yesterday i voted, Came back on again and it didn't look like i voted so i voted again, I signed in and then i could of voted again, Hardly fair if anyone wants a true poll.

I think whoever posts the poll has the option to disallow guest voting Nitro.

Hi, I just done my own test poll and logged out and it wouldn't let me vote.

There is a little box to check which says "Check this if you want guests to be able to vote in this poll." Well i didn't check it so it works.

One thing thats definetly a bug is i can delete my own thread or poll (which i've just done), So if other people posted it would make no sense whatsoever and the thread would be a jumbled mess not sure if i can delete a whole thread with others responses though.

DL65, did you get a call back yet?
If not, please make your way down to his home, and prod him over the the computer, and hold him hostage until he signs in as the admin, says hello to everyone, goes into the admin center, and begins recounting member, recreating member history, recounting posts (WE NEED THIS DONE!), recount message totals, etc, and stopping all the havoc that seems to be going around. Then have him sign GX1_Man up as a Global Moderator.
