Of course it's broken. Does it work?  ::) Now let's move on.

You may have a loose video adapter, bad wiring. bad monitor or whatever. If it's new take it back. It's not up to you, or us, to fix this problem. Sometimes opening the case voids your warranty.

Where did you get this machine?

You could try another monitor on this box and try this monitor on another machine to see where the problem is.

Do you think you're entitled to abuse people who are volunteering to help you in their spare time?

Hint: the answer you're looking for is "no".

Still chuckling about "the only thing thats broken is ur mind".

And no, not for the reason you intended.

Because we are not able to see or access your hardware, and because of the vast range of abilities of people who come to Computer Hope for help, we cannot make any assumptions about your situation.  Hence all the questions we tend to ask.

The first thing that you were asked (although you could easily have overlooked this) is to provide more information about your system.  (GX1_Man said "see below" - which meant, refer to his signature asking for more information.)  What monitor?  What type of connection?  What graphics card?  Does the monitor work fine with another PC?  (I think you've said "yes" to this one.)  Do any other monitors work fine with the computer?

The system supplied to you new should work, as supplied.  If the monitor and PC don't work together, then your first port of call is the people who supplied you this "new" hardware.  That is exactly what GX1_Man was saying.  So yes, I do think his "answers" are right.

The only thing broken is my heart at your snide rebuff. My schedule once allowed you to get some free advice YOU asked for. Your insistence that nothing is wrong when the equipment obviously has a problem is somewhere between incredible and dull-witted.

Have a good read here from the Administrator of the board. You should have noted this when you first logged on. Maybe you overlooked it in your haste to insist that something didn't work, but wasn't broken (an interesting distinction):

It's a special type of circular logic, similar to a dog chasing it's tail. What does the dog do IF it ever catches it, I wonder.  ::)

Totally off-topic, but Saviour, I was wondering why someone from the U.S. would consistently spell "Saviour" with a 'u'?  Not that I disapprove - on the contrary!

I actually don't spell it that way all the time...knowing, with the "u", it's the British equivalent of the "Yank's" "Savior".

Wanted the domain name "SaveYourPC.com"...taken..."SaviorPC.com"...taken...therefore...what you see is what you get.
