« on: August 14, 2006, 05:22:29 PM »
Basically my problem is that I can't hear any animated flash movies, but I can still see them. My speakers are on, my firewall is down, I've tried reinstalling it...what can I do to get it working again?  :-[

Have you tried downloading and installing the latest Macromedia Flash Player Plugin for Windows?

Try this URL:

http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash

I suggest if you don't want the Yahoo Toolbar to uncheck it before you download.

Okay, then...

One issue may be an incompatibility issue between your sound card and the Flash Player you have installed.  See if there is an updated driver for your sound card.

If all else fails, I'm providing you another link to the Support Page for the Adobe Flash Player:

http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/

Good Luck...

You updated your sound card driver and now none of your sound works?

Where did you get the driver from and what are your system specs?  Apparently you updated your sound card driver with the wrong driver.  Rollback your driver.

Get back to me with the specs.
