SM Bus controler
« on: August 29, 2006, 08:36:51 PM »
Hi, I don't know if I'm in the right place for this question but I'll ask anyway. My SM Bus controler has no drivers installed I don't have a disk for the drivers. I read that my bus cotroler isn't working because I haven't installed the chipset drivers. Do chipset drivers have anything to do with your Bios? If I upgrade my bios will this fix the driver problem?

BIOS has absolutely nothing to do with this.

What is the computer or motherboard make/model?

If you don't know, download Everest and find out.

If you have a modem, please list the make and model of that as well. If you post the whole Everest report, that is even better.

Glad you are well on your way. Post back if further problems. Lucent has generic modem driver at their site.  ;)
