    Sort of. We have the same words, but different meaning to them. They also use a letter that we haven't got. I believe it's called an "Abstrophe". It's like a B .. But different..  :P

    Well, based a brief look at the article, I don't think I would say one spun off of the other, but there clearly are similarities.  I find this interesting because I have some German ancestry, and also come from a Lutheran family.

      Well I learnt mine from the Muppet Show with the Swedish Chef and Beeker.
      Couple that with my Southern way of tellin Y'all Thangs and it wern't that bad
      Of a try at.... (Crappin)LOL

      There are older Dutch and German words (krappe/krape) and an English version crappe that could have been the source. None of these actually mean  deficate though.
