Computer shuts down automatically- Help Needed

3> Removed the heatsink and cleaned it for any dust. Though i would like to mention one thing here.
     There are 2 clips which hold the heatsink tightly above the processor. One of them seems broken .  
     But still the existing clip is holding the heatsink tight enough. Can it be the reason for the problem?

The broken clip was indeed the problem. After fixing that, my PC is alive again. The lesson to be learned from this is that their shouldnt be any gap between the heatsink and the processor(Not even 0.1mm).The heatsink should tightly be mounted over the processor.If it's not the processor will shutdown your PC.
