Question?  I am not really getting any firm resolutions googling or asking .com's

Apple ipod  30 gig   ( i think 5th generation models) bought 2 for my kids..

i have (1)  ih6 ihome clock radio that says it is compatible with this model. (daughter)

just bought a ih5 (4 da son)   which i didn't even know was different than the ih6 (didn't read the fine print)  for 20.00 bucs less,  thinking i was getting a deal cause the dam boxes look the same.  NOW*  i think this  older version might not work with the 30 gig ipod  ie.. charging it.  ??
Anyone know for sure?   I don't want  to open up these boxes  cause for xmas ..

The ih5  isn't on the apple web page but the ih6 is and says its compatible
