Installing Audio and Video Drivers
« on: November 17, 2006, 06:10:32 PM »
Hello all,
Recently i formatted my pc, and as it happens i've lost my driver discs. However, i do know what type of motherboard i have, it being a PC CHIPS board. I went to their website and downloaded the VGA video and graphics drivers and sound driver. These were downloaded as zip folders. What i would like to know is, where would i unzip these folders? which part of the windows system folders is relevent to this?
The pc chips website is, www.pcchips.com.tw

Thanks alot for your help.

Why not make a folder called audio and unzip the files there. Ditto for the video. You can run the file from there (if an .exe file) or direct Windows to search for the drivers there if not.
