Hi,

A friend of mine can't get on his computer. When he last logged in, Windows automatically installed updates. When it restarted, and he tried logging in, there was only a black screen. After a long period of time, nothing happened at all.

Anyone have any ideas what to do? Should he try to go into safe mode and system restore it all?
