« on: November 27, 2006, 02:59:07 AM »
I want to build an instant messaging server in my company.
But I dont know the good program that work very well and useful for my case.
I have ever use BORGchat but this program cant communicate between my LAN and the other LANs(if it can pls tell me thanks for advice).
Here is my system information
OS : Window 2000 Server and Window 2000 Pro(Client)
Each Client at the other branches has its own domain (ex. DMN20,DMN23) and all the branches connect to HQ using ADSL Modem.

Jabber is the way to go.  You can find details of recommended client and server programs in the software FAQ.  Follow the link in my signature, and then search for "Jabber" on that page.

Thanks very much for your help.
But now I use Chat Anywhere to build my company chat room and I think It works well for my case.
After I read your reply I go to your page and try to download jabber but I dont have enough time to learn about jabber(I never use it before but hear about it for a while) because my Boss want to use the chat room before tomorrow.
I decided to use Chat Anywhere until I understand more about jabber.
If I have some problems about it I wish you will give me some help again.
Thanks for your help again mate.

Kind Regards
Jun
