Icon saying I have Virus

Hi all, I recently had a virus problem which is fixed now by Norton however I have this little thing/Icon onthe bottum thaT KEEPS telling me to buy there product and keep popping up with the popping sound. I cannot get rid of it . How do I do that?

Then your problem is not fixed. You have some sort of spyware issue as well, as and probably a lot more.

    Try RogueRemover if that fails to fix it then tell us the name of "there? program".

    I think also that this is a "False Positive" in order to have me buy VirusBurst. I went to control Panal to remove it but cannot find it listed or it may be under another name. I see something called AdWare and another called Spybot in the Control Panal but do not want to remove for now.

      RogueRemover should remove it, did you try it?
      Spybot is your friend, was the other one Adware or Adaware?

        Ad-Aware SE Personal is your friend too so keep it. ;)

            You didn't mention what your operating system is (win xp, me, 2000, etc.......) ?

            If you have win xp then you'll have to turn off your system restore before run your anti-spyware/virus detection programs. Otherwise you'll never get rid of your spyware/virus problem.
