PfModNT - system cannot find the file specified

Can someone please tell me:

1. What kind of file is this (and where it comes from).

2. How can I replace this file.

I have done alot of searching and come up with very little. I have searched for the file on my hard drive, with no results. I have looked in my services, nothing there seemed related. Websites gave only clues, if that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The PfModNT or PfModNT.sys is a file that is associated with your creative / SoundBlaster sound card. If you are getting an error with this file it is possible that your drivers for your sound card are corrupt or missing.
