(Problem) I just cleaned my computer...

..when i put everything back together and was plugging everything back. When i plugged the power it started making a noise and after a while a funky smell came about. I havent turned it on yet and inside the computer ive plugged everything back in to where it was before. Please Help!!!

Sounds like a bad PSU if it started smelling without him turning it on.

a cloth primarily with bits of water in it, i didnt use any chemicals or a vacuum. i didnt open the power supply, that was the only thing i didnt open up.

how can it be bad after i finished cleaning the pc, i didnt have that problem before i cleaned the pc. And i used it early this morning.

Just to be on the safe side i would direct a small fan into the case for an hour or so brefore powering up.
